Conclusion
Asiana Airlines onboard service was satisfactory. Being a short flight, didn't adjust the seat to sleep mode to check the comfort. Flight was delayed in Seoul, I didn't get affected as I had plenty of time for hotel check-in.
Seoul security check queue was long as it was busy. Still managed to complete the process quickly. Immigration didn't take long as it was through self check kiosk.
I didn't spend much time in the lounge as I missed the train at Seoul Station. I would say it was still a pleasant experience.
3 LIKESLIKE TO THANK THE AUTHORTHANKS ! FLIGHT-REPORT LIKED
Asiana's site is just as detailed, if not more, than Korean's with regards to the onboard products in each cabin---really love that as an AvGeek!
I'm pleasantly surprised that the cabin still looks so modern and fresh despite the A380 fleet being about a decade old at this point. Though I've never been a fan of the drab colour or design of Asiana's seat covers, that of course doesn't affect the comfort of the seats, just my eyes, haha.
With the future of A380s everywhere so uncertain for several years during the pandemic, it's nice see to a decent amount of reviews on A380s lately. A perfectly adapted aircraft for both ultra-long-haul and short high-traffic routes like this one.
